Music and beer are our universal languages. Thorazine Sunrise is an old friend coming home after long years on the road in a seriously remastered incarnation as a special guest and beer of Fekete Zaj festival. To make this whole cultural noise even deeper, it has to be noted that this strange name of our beer is a fictive album by a fictive band called the Nomatics from Jonathan Franzen' s novel, The Corrections. Plot twist? He actually gave us the permissions to the name back in 2015, when the original batch was released. Ingredients: water, barley malts, hops (Chinook, Wai-iti, Kohatu), yeast

We’ve done the honourable thing and taken this intergalactic ode to Galaxy hops to the next level! To close out 2019 in style, ‘Planets Don’t Twinkle’ has been upgraded to 8% ABV.

Foeder Aged American Farmhouse Ale with Hibiscus and Ginger.

Brewed to celebrate Vessel Beer Shop's birthday, Katie and Sam came over to the brewery to lend a hand in the making of this beer. They wanted a beer based on one of their personal favourites of our previous brews, Islands in Space. This Sour IPA packs a celebratory pop with a vineous dry hop of New Zealand Nelson Sauvignon, Australian Galaxy and Californian Citra making the beer's flavour character similar to that of champagne.

Vice Grip is our latest most synthwavest juicy crushable pale. It's 5.4%, citrusy and dank, hopped with Columbus, Simcoe and Chinook with wheat and oats added for great mouthfeel. Superb!

Kilos And Pounds is a 6% Sour Fruited IPA with pineapple and raspberry. Remember, although it's juicy and delicious, it isn't actually juice.

A hoppy west coast inspired DIPA with a full bodied mouthfeel.

This stout was brewed with a plentiful mix of different grains, ranging from flaked oats to boost mouthfeel, a mix of different roasted barley varieties for layers of chocolate and liquorice character plus some special B crystal malt which is rich in berry notes. We wanted this beer to be as rich and full in mouthfeel as possible so we also added lactose and maltodextrin to the boil, very complex sugars with low fermentability. In fermentation we added raspberry puree to give a ‘jammy’ depth to our cake interpretation, cherry puree alongside and then spun through toasted coconut flakes. They not only contribute flavour but a silky mouthfeel as a result of their oil content, as well as a touch of vanilla as a good base for bringing the custard character to the mix.

No Wave: 6.0% IPA with Columbus, Cryo Simcoe, Loral, Cryo Sabro⠀

There Will Be No Intervals... None, nada, zip, zero, zilch! A 4.5% crushable pale hopped with Simcoe & Mosaic. Stone fruit, sherbet and citrus flavours all day long!

Pure Fyr: For this beer, we wanted to highlight one of Christmas' main ingredients - pine. We brewed a fairly oat heavy beer, which was then dry-hopped with cryo Centennial and Simcoe. After the dry-hop was completed, we then added fresh hand-picked pine needles, which we then circulated the beer over. The pine and hop aroma balance and compliment each other, without either being to dominant.

Maler Byen Rød: For this beer, we brewed a base with a very high percentage of light and dark crystal malts. This gives the beer a beautiful dark red color, and a big depth of flavor. We then added a whole lot of Turkish figs, freshly ground nutmeg, cinnamon and a bit of dark brown sugar. The beer was then circulated over the fruit and spices several hours in order balance the flavors exactly.

Queen’s Vinand & Any Port Sort: Any Port Sort is a Russian Imperial Stout, based almost 1:1 on a homebrew recipe by our brewer Chris. This beer features a very complex malt bill, using various chocolate malts, light crystal, multiple types of roasted malts and a whole lot of oats. We also used chocolate in almost every step of the brew.
After fermentation we added hand processed Madagascar bourbon vanilla beans, Belgian cacao nibs and fantastic Kenyan coffee from our friends at Coffee Collective.
This beer is best enjoyed out of a glass, where the CO2 carries a lot of the coffee aroma. And as the beer warms, the chocolate really starts to shine.

It’s a huge imperial stout that has been conditioning on over 100kgs of coconut. The result is tongue coating coconut grenade. Pull the pin, put it in your mouth and await to coconut explosion💥🥥💥. A decadent delight and coming in at 12.5% it’s best shared with someone who really likes... coconut 🌴

See this beer? This is Hi-Fi.. high fidelity. What that means is that it's the highest quality Cloudberry Berliner Weisse brewed with our dear friends from Mad Scientist!

American Whisky barrels, once used as a home for our Beer Geek Vanilla Shake, were emptied and gifted to the diabolical minds at Phantom Spirits.⁠ The barrels were then used to age rum. After emptying the rum, we refilled them with a fresh batch of Beer Geek Cocoa Shake.

Well Shot - Bourbon BA Stout - 13%
The base beer for Well Shot is our ‘Fighting Ale’ Imperial Stout, aged in Buffalo Trace Bourbon barrels for 12 months. Well Shot has massive aromatics of vanilla and caramel from the barrel, with intense chocolate, dried fruit and boozy notes.
 
Yūki - Japanese Whisky BA Stout - 9.2%
The base beer for Yūki is a clone of a historic Courage Russian Imperial Stout, aged for 12 months in Japanese whisky barrels (previously Jim Beam). Yūki has rich caramel and chocolate flavours, boosted by notes of rum, tobacco and wood.

A 10% Imperial Stout with gingerbread spices (ginger, cinnamon, vanilla (loads and loads of vanilla) and nutmeg). Treat yourself to some warm spices in the cold weather!⁠

We brewed a West Coast Double India Pale Ale that features pronounced grapefruit, orange and rich pine aroma 🍊🌲👃🏻 A sherbet-y bitterness on a slightly sweet, smooth round body. Bursting flavours of clementine, succulent pineapple, fresh green hops and a touch of lemon make for a super (dangerously) drinkable and crisp beer 🤤

Hopped with Amarillo, Ekuanot & Hallertau Blanc for punchy flavour without bringing punchbowl. 
A gentle addition of wildflower honey adds floral high notes without overpowering the hops. 
A deft touch of pale rye adds complexity to the mash without hitting you over the head. 
It’s thirst quenching and crushable, you’ll want to think of One Good Reason to stay and have another.

Japanese brewing (and Sake) legend @egobrewer paid us a visit recently, so we put together a simple and enjoyable dry pilsner and spiked it with fresh Yuzu juice to give it a citrus kick. 💥 We used rice to mimic the dry style of the Japanese pilsners we love, when we visit Japan.⁠

A double IPA with a dangerously close to stupid amount of hops and a strength to match. It’s far too easy to drink thanks to all the delicious fruity flavours provided by the Citra and Centennial dry hopping. Amounts of Banana is a To Øl summer release for 2018, a fruit packed version of the original. It’s banana heaven, made for the laziest of summer days. Sip with caution unless you can handle your exotic hop explosions with ease.

The Swedish phrase ‘det är ingen ko på isen’ strictly translates as ‘there is no cow on the ice as long as the hind part is on the land’ has a better meaning of ‘no worries’ or ‘take it easy’. We had to put a Yorkshire tweak on this awesome idiom for this juicy, hoppy DDH pale brewed with Beerbliotek from Gothenburg, Sweden, and so ‘No Cow on T’ Ice’ was born, aye lad.

O/O Brewing (SWE) - 50/50 Cashmere/Mosaic & Cashmere/Ekuanot // IPA //

Brewed for our 5th birthday, this beer is a present to you and ourselves! We've taken our Triple Fruited Gose recipe and packed it with nothing but Boysenberry! Boysenberry is a fruit we have always sampled to use in our TFG series but never gone for it because of its availability, but being as its our birthday the words "Treat yo' self!" echoed through our minds. The beer pours a deep maroon with a bright pink head, huge berry and candy floss aroma radiates from the beer! The flavour is full of blackcurrant, blackberry, raspberry and loganberry with a full yoghurty thickness and a balanced salinity that rounds all these components together.

Traditional malt bill, well rounded and complex. Amber and Rauchmalt in the grist adding biscuit and smoked flavours.⠀
